been trying some more diagnosis...
"doesn't work" = shows as "empty" in the gui and no noise.
- switching the example wav files for any of mine in the example patch, and making no change to definition file doesn't work
- changing a transpose value in the example definition file, making no other changes - worked in WordPad, didn't work in NotePad. So only use WordPad
- using an example definition file in my patch folder with my wavs, and making no changes to the definition file, doesn't work.
This is a fantastic logic puzzle i'm working through, but i'd love any tips if anyone has any please!
have now deduced that if i load of my wav with no definition file, it works as before.
then, if i use the gui on my phone to add the following in the definition space (assuming it creates a definition file), the patch now shows as onc2, but it also now appears as empty.
