Hi Douwe, I have been using Pisound+Samplerbox for a long time now with no issues at all (it is working great indeed!)
What you have to have in mind is that Pisound works at 48khz and Samplerbox at 41khz, so in the configuration file you should select the 48khz transpose option, although the wav files should be recorded at 41khz. No more settings needed rather than this, Hans has done a great job so that Pisound recognizes the hardware attached to the Pi without the need to specify it.
Try this configuration and tell me if that works for you, otherwise I can send you my config file + samples so that you can try it with your setup.
