Arpeggio

Arpeggio will only arpeggiate the standard chords when they are on (Scale C, Scale E, Chord Min) but not the chords held on the MIDI keyboard.

Is this normal or am I expecting too much?

It indeed works as basic as you describe.
I also noticed now I didn't even document it properly, so there was no way to find out what you could expect 
It's a valid question, so I'll give it some thoughts (the wishlist is long though..).
