Samplerbox alternative - Sur - 30-09-23
Recently I've used squishbox created by Bill Peterson

I use both Samplerbox and Squishbox. I don't want to be rude, but Squishbox is much user-friendlier than the Samplerbox.
There is no-waiting time anymore when you choose from a sampler to another. You can create complex custom settings because it uses soundfonts.
Now I am using the Squishbox instead of Samplerbox

I've just spend many hours looking at both SamplerBox and SquishBox to figure out which I'll move forward with and I have to say that from my experience SamplerBox is definitely more user and hacker friendly.

I have tried samplerbox a little, and I love its concept much more than squishbox's, but using readily available soundfonts seems tempting...
Is the boot time similar for both?
