o.k., this problem has already been discussed by "Drum Box" and Hans, but they got no solution. https://homspace.nl/forum/thread-16.html SamplerBox produces a faint click in the moment of click release. By the SamplerBox default of 30 you hardly hear it. But this value makes unrealistic acoustics. My unprofessionell result: I set the Box release on 1 and used a silent release sample whith %%xfadein=0 In the Attachement an organ bassound which ends on D4 (the silent Sample also used for splitting) ! please rename the .doc to .rar ! |

Today I realized, that I created the problem by myself. I adjusted in the configuration.txt the value of "BOXRELEASE" from 30 to 0. I was happy to get a dry and clearer signal - some samples sounded like recordings from a toilet. (I want to use the box to play a deep, fat, funky organbass in the left hand. Today I use a Roland Fantom sampleplayer - the samplerbox looks smarter to me). The next days I will try different values for BOXRELEASE in the configuration.txt and %%xfadeout in the definition.txt maybe it will work, greetings |

Hi ! Does it still happen if you put something like %%gain=0.6 in your definition file ? I had some issues with behringer sound card which was not handling samples correctly when played too loud. |

Hi everyone, I'm having a problem playing my own samples or the included samples. In the moment of key release I hear a soft klick. My samples are strictly -6db, I think the reason can't be a distortion. I used a Pifi DAC and a Behringer UCA202 - it makes no difference. Perhaps one of you had a similar problem and an idea for me. Thank you |
