Hello there !
I just received my HIFIBERRY DAC2HD and mounted it on my rpi3.

I tried to play with SAMPLERBOX, but I got no sound Sad

I found a thread on the hifiberry subject in this forum, but I'm not sure if it is accurate anymore as it is quite old.

I thought it'be ok with the latest image of samplerbox

I tried to get the hifiberry ID by using lsdev command ... but it says command not found  Sad

Anybody can help ?

cheers
Pierre
found this page
https://www.hifiberry.com/docs/data-shee...et-dac-hd/

so I assume I should be adding the line

Code:
dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplushd
 to the config.txt

but don't get any sound so far

I've Installed a new version of pios and updated it.

I got the HIFIBERRY DAC2HD to work.

so I tried to copy files from that release

hifiberry-dacplushd.dtbo
into /overlay

clk-allo-dac.ko
clk-hifiberry-dachd.ko
clk-hifiberry-dacpro.ko

into / usr/lib/modules /..../ kernel/drivers/clk

snd-soc-hifiberry-dacplushd.ko
into /usr/lib/modules/...kernel/sound/soc/bcm

...but still no succes
aplay -l doesn't give me any result
Hi Pete,
I assume this won't work as the OS is very old, so the overlay is likely to be incompatible.
A new samplerbox version is about to release,
I've sent you a PM with hints on how to continue for now.

What do the dmesg and lsmod commands say about your sound card?
